Cinnamon Sweet Apple Crisps

A healthy and crispy all-natural snack

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Wash and remove stem from apples
  2. Slice apples with apples lying on the side, about 1/8 inch thick (you remove the seeds as you slice the apple, no need to core the apple).
  3. Arrange apple slices in a single layer on cookie sheets sprayed with a light coating of cooking spray.
  4. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Place in oven set at 225 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Flip apples over and sprinkle other side with sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Return to oven and continue to cook for an additional 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
  10. Enjoy as a snack or as a topping on a salad.
