Dijon Glazed Skillet Pork Chops are a healthy family meal that can be on the table in 30 minutes, thanks to Farm Promise® .
Growing up in the Midwest, meat and potatoes were more than just a meal idea; they were a way of life. Both Keith and I grew up in this kind of household. Our mothers prepared countless combinations of meat and potatoes most every night, all too numerous to recount. While we have both maintained a genuine love and nostalgia for these kinds of traditional family meals, we acknowledge that times have changed.
When it comes to feeding our family, we acknowledge the importance of lean protein in our diets. Pork is an excellent source of protein, vitamin B6, and thiamin. We choose Farm Promise® pork because we know that we are getting the best quality pork that is raised without any growth promotants, hormones or antibiotics—ever.
These Dijon Glazed Pork Chops are a recipe developed by the chefs at Farm Promise® that we have happily “borrowed” to add to our weeknight menu. They have become a family favorite that we had to share with our Superman Cooks Family. They are so easy to make, can be on the table in thirty minutes, and taste absolutely delicious.
A lot of things have changed about our diets since the “meat and potatoes” days of our youth. We make sure there lots of vegetables on our table each night, the serving size of our mashed potatoes has been cut in half, and we consciously choose lean forms of protein like pork. We like knowing where are food comes from, and Farm Promise® makes it easy for us to make the best choice for our family.
