A classic wedge salad piled with creamy blue cheese dressing, sharp blue cheese crumbles, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy candied bacon crumbles.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/4 or 1/6 wedge of iceberg lettuce (depending on size)
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1 tablespoon blue cheese crumbles
  • 4 cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 slices candied bacon, chopped into crumbles

Instructions

  1. Wash and core iceberg lettuce, then cut into wedges by halving first and cutting into thirds or halves again, depending on size.
  2. Place curved side down on plate.
  3. Top with blue cheese dressing then garnish with blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, and candied bacon crumbles. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • For the best texture, chill the iceberg lettuce wedge before slicing and serve the salad cold.
  • Dressing swap: use ranch dressing in place of blue cheese dressing if preferred.
  • Keep it crisp: chop the candied bacon just before serving so it stays crisp.
