- 2 1/4 C apple cider
- 3 sage leaves
- 1/2 C olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Bob's Red Mill Organic Chia Seeds
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/2 Tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 Tsp white pepper
- 1/2 Tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Place 2 C apple cider into small sauce pan along with fresh sage leaves and cook over medium high heat for approximately 5 minutes or until cider has reduced by half, remove sage leaves and allow to cool in refrigerator.
- Take remaining 1/4 Cider and place in medium bowl and add chia seeds.
- When Cider has cooled prepare dressing by adding cider to a medium mixing bowl and add garlic powder, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- Using a whisk, slowly add olive oil while whisking vigorously until combined.
- Add chia seed and cider mixture along with fresh chopped parsley.
- Refrigerate for up to 1 week and serve over your favorite salad.
- We used fresh greens, sliced apples, beets and candied pecans.
