- FROZEN MANGOES: store-bought frozen mangoes (mango chunks) work best
- LIME: (for garnish) freshly squeezed lime juice
- GRAPEFRUIT JUICE: fresh squeezed grapefruit juice is best
- ORANGE JUICE: fresh squeezed orange juice is best
- MARGARITA MIX: store bought margarita mix
- DARK RUM: spiced rum works too
- MANGO LIQUEUR: (we like Parrot Bay Mango Rum)
- FRESH MANGO: (optional) for garnish
🔪Top tip
When blending the frozen fruit and ice, add water as needed to make the drink more smooth.
Instructions
- In a blender, mix frozen mango pieces and ice until slushy. Add a tablespoon of water as needed to make smooth.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine orange juice, grapefruit juice, dark rum and mango liqueur with ice and shake.
- Fill 4 8 oz glasses half way with ice. Divide mango evenly and then top off with juice and alcohol mixture.
- Cut a lime into 4 sections. Squeeze lime juice on top and serve with a straw and fresh mango as a garnish.
