What is a Fall Harvest Cocktail?
This pretty Vodka Cocktail has all of the flavors of fall in one refreshing sip! Inspired by the colors and flavors of autumn, the Fall Harvest Cocktail is designed to be sipped on a brisk fall day with friends (while nibbling on Pretzels and Beer Cheese). Think of it as a fancy, boozy apple cider drink .
The best part? You only need 4 ingredients! Like our Empress Gin Fizz, it's a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Candied Sugar rim is optional.

Ingredients

- VODKA: we used Absolut Pear flavored vodka
- APPLE CIDER: fresh apple cider
- SODA: lemon lime soda or seltzer
- CRANBERRY JUICE: sweetened cranberry juice
- CANDIED SUGAR: red candied sugar or sanding sugar for rim (optional)

Instructions
- Rim glass with candied sugar.
- In a cocktail shaker, place vodka and cider and shake for 10 seconds.
- Pour over glass tall glass filled with ice and top with soda and cranberry juice.
- Serve chilled in mason jars with or without a striped straw

Variations
- MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL: this apple cider cocktail tastes just as good with no alcohol! Just follow the instructions and add more fresh apple cider in place of vodka.
- REGULAR VODKA: no pear vodka in the house? Or don't like flavored vodka?Substitute regular vodka. Play with the proportion of the other ingredients, and even add pear juice for extra fall flavor!
- MAKE IT GINGER: substitute ginger ale or ginger beer for lemon lime soda to add some ZING to this recipe!
